As project lead and lead designer, I travelled to Poland to work closely with People Can Fly on the UI for Outriders, collaborating directly with the development team throughout production. In parallel, I led the branding work from the UK in close collaboration with Square Enix as publishers. Working hands-on alongside my team, we designed and iterated on a futuristic UI system that supported the game’s rich storytelling, while developing branding that helped define Outriders’ identity within the looter-shooter space. Through close collaboration across studios and regular iteration, the final UI and branding balance clarity, atmosphere, and function. Reinforcing the game’s tone while staying deeply integrated with gameplay and narrative.
